Regular Trips

We're Good to GoWe run Regular Trips on some weekdays and most Saturdays and Sundays from April to the end of November. Most trips depart at 11am or 2pm, but do check actual timings for the date and trip in which you’re interested.

Details of our Regular Trips are shown below…

  • AVONCLIFF: Adult £10, Child (4-12) £7.
Descend more than three metres through Bradford Lock for a 2½ hour return trip to the Grade II listed Avoncliff Aqueduct, designed by John Rennie. Kingfishers, herons, ducks, swans, moorhens and other wildlife are frequently spotted. Subject to weather and mooring space, you’ll be able to disembark briefly to walk over the aqueduct above the River Avon — it’s a magnificent structure.
  • CRUISE ON THE CUT: Adult £6, Child (4-12) £4.
A tranquil 1 hour cruise eastwards to Widbrook winding hole, to Bradford Marina.  The length of this short trip is especially suitable for young families, those with special needs or anyone who is looking to experience the canal for the first time.
  • MEADOWS BRIDGE MEANDER: Adult £7, Child (4-12) £5.
A 1½ hour trip to Meadows Bridge, travelling west down through Bradford Lock, past the Tithe Barn to Meadows Bridge winding hole where we turn and head back. The length of this trip is especially suitable for young families or anyone who would like a “taste” of the beauty of the Kennet and Avon canal.
  • WIDBROOK WANDER: Adult £7, Child (4-12) £5.
A 1½ hour cruise perfect for those looking for a shorter cruise. Travelling east to Widbrook winding hole, we pass Bradford Marina and motor alongside the reed beds by Widbrook Woods, a local nature reserve frequented by badgers, deer and bats.

Covid Security

To protect all our passengers and boat crew and acknowledging the wave nature of coronavirus, our Covid procedures will be appropriate to the situation at the time of each trip.  These will definitely include rigorous cleaning protocols, and may include reducing the number of passengers per trip, wearing of facemasks, and limiting movement around the boat. Your skipper will brief you fully at the beginning of your trip. We hope you understand what we trying to achieve, namely a safe environment for our passengers and crew.

Whilst we are planning a full programme of trips we cannot guarantee that every trip will run while we are under Covid restrictions. You can book with confidence that, if we cancel a trip for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your money – automatically!

You can book any of our trips on our dedicated bookings site at
